The AARF has recently updated its application procedure. It is now a two-stage process. Please see below for the first-stage application process.
We recommend applicants copy and paste the following questions into a text editor and submit their responses via email to the Research Program Officer.

The following questions comprise the first-stage of the application procress:
Principle Investigator:
- Name
- Job title
- Institutional affiliation
- Contact information
Key Collaborators:
- Name(s)
- Job title(s)
- Institutional affiliation(s)
- Contact information
Project Information:
- Focus area (If you feel your project is applicable to more than one focus area, please select the one that is most relevant to the project you are proposing.)
- Farmed animal advocacy
- Plant-based and cell-cultured meat
- Wild animal suffering
- Anticipated start and end date (mm/dd/yyyy)
- Total requested budget (US dollars)
Brief Project Summary:
- What is the specific issue your project aims to address and why is this issue important?
- What information already exists in this area and how does your project contribute to or expand upon it?
- Please provide the primary objectives of your project along with the anticipated outcomes for each.
- What methods and techniques do you plan to use?
- What qualifications do you and your team have that will contribute to your success with this work?
- How will the results of your project be shared or presented so that others in the animal advocacy movement can utilize them?
- How does your proposal advance its specific focus area?
